Ukraine is willing to give up its key trade partners that are willing to give specific preferences not only in the customs matters (gas price is the evidence). According to the EU suggestions to buy more and sell less, Ukraine is going to drive its manufacturers into an absolutely dependent and powerless position. And all this is done for the sake of entering the EU someday — or, more likely, never entering it at all.

Creation of the Eurasian Union, which Vladimir Putin talked of, may impose new outlook integration contours all over the post-soviet space. Given the complicated demographic situation in the CU member-states, advancement of the geopolitical border will give more confidence in the relations with the neighbors in the west, south and east. The CU restores the idea that American objected in 1992 so much — new space in the Eurasia.

Activity of NATO «missionaries» reaps its fruits. Recent polls have indicated that the number of people, who stand up for Swedish membership in the NATO went up from 17% in 2005 to 35% in 2009, i.e. more than twice. Ideological mission, explaining the need for Swedes to join the Alliance has been prepared, too. Why joining the NATO? In order to protect the young Baltic democracies, which are destined to be devoured by the «Russian bear» otherwise. Recent speech of Estonian Defense Minister, during which he called the nation to create guerilla detachments and prepare to explode the bridges and roads in order to slow down Russian tanks, came in quite handy.

Reason for Israeli refusal to normalize the relationship with Libya is not only their unwillingness to spoil the relations with the USA and the EU. Undisguised hostile Israeli attitude towards Libya during the recent years is conditioned by Gaddafi’s proposals regarding the Israeli-Arab conflict settlement. Faraway Libya does Israel nothing bad, but from time to time its leader comes up with ideas, that abruptly counter the policy of both left and right Israeli governments.

Nearly 350 thousand Serbs, Gorani and Gypsies have left Kosovo because of NATO bombings and terror despite the presence of peacemakers. NATO bombs «accidentally» hit hospitals, bridges, churches and schools, destroyed buses and trains, crowded with people, devastated the building of Yugoslavian television, Milošević residence and the Chinese Embassy in Belgrade. People responsible for that barbarity — Bill Clinton, Wesley Clark, Madeleine Albright, Joschka Fischer, Franjo Tuđman and Alia Izetbegovic — haven’t faced any punishment at all.

Once again it turns out that the façade of the peace-loving rhetoric of top Washington and Brussels officials hides the fact that they develop the plans for warfare against Russia. At that, it is planned not only at the level of alliance headquarters, but also at the level of respective defense bodies of certain member-states of NATO. Perhaps, that’s the main reason for the U.S. and NATO unwillingness to tie their hands with as much as guarantees that the common NMD system will never be used against the Russian forces of nuclear detention, let alone the close cooperation with Russia.

There’s a myth that Russia sells gas not to reap profits, but rather because of its imperial ambitions and willingness to destine its clients to a certain «energetic dependence» and then threaten them with some mysterious «energetic weapon». Such position is quite convenient. From one hand, Russia may be demanded of economic give-and-takes, from the other one — commercial activity of Russian companies may be interpreted as the display of some sinister and surely «anti-European» Kremlin plans.

It seemingly doesn’t care about other problems of the USA like crisis in Greece or the inflow of refugees from North Africa.
