27/05/10 | "ROBIN HOOD" MOVIE: Anglo-Saxon debate about the "author’s rights" for liberty and democracyGroup of documents, which – at a stretch – may be referred to the principal laws of Great Britain, originates from the very Magna Carta. It has nothing revolutionary in it, though. From the legal point of view, the much-talked-about "Yaroslav’s Justice", which was in use in Russia for a long time then, was more "advanced" document of its period. English Magna Carta, however, became the sacred myth and the "foundation stone of liberty", whatever that word may mean. "Robin Hood" directed by Ridley Scott is the first – may it be the probing one – attempt to work with that myth. |

28/11/09 | ANIME AS AN INFORMATION WEAPON. Combating Global Britain. Part III“Code Giass” — a multi-layered allegory of the modern globalise process, which has become a vicious circle for dozens of nations. The overwhelming global system of lies made her hostage not only those who are in the matrix, but the authors of the process as well. Series, with all its daunting symbols and refined elegance, is specifically the Japanese reaction to the massive zombie making, conducting its analogy directly to Armageddon. And if you try to bring anime-ish image of the absolute negative, then directly or indirectly, it will be a self-sufficient ideology of international financial groups and trans-national corporations with the secret or clear centre in Britain. And the chief evil is seen not as the military, but as the intellectual influence of this centre, which promotes untraditional ideology that is claimed to be the ultimate truth. |

12/11/09 | АNIME AS AN INFORMATIONAL WEAPON. Combating Global Britain. Part IIWhat is the "Alternative Britain" within? The authors of the series (and they are a famous group of cartoonists manga CLAMP) have created a hybrid between the empire of Charlemagne with his dynastic dreams, and the Third Reich with its neo-heathen bravado. In "Global Britain" the Ten Commandments are thrown into oblivion by "biological truth". "The world filled with lies. Thou shall not kill. Thou shall not steal. Do not bear false witness. Do not commit adultery. All this — the lies and deception", argue its rulers… |

02/11/09 | ANIME AS AN INFORMATION WEAPON. Restoration of the British Empire? Part IThe British line is present in many films, and is often portrayed as the Anglo-Saxons tend to win (or have already won) the whole world. British characters in Japanese presentation are clearly gravitating towards the evil empire. The most interesting and most popular anime typecasting of Britain (which, of course, is never found in the official Japanese media), is Britain, that is controlled by some secret society, that entangled the world by its web. This society has a tremendous impact on world financial groups. |

31/10/09 | АNIME AS AN INFORMATIONAL WEAPON. The War in the Real and beyond the RationalAnime is one of the most succesful examples of the cultural expansion of the Asian-Pacific world project. The role of anime as an informational weapon has not yet been appreciated by the rest of the world. However, it seems that the popularity of this genre is going to increase. Moreover, the introduction of advanced visual technologies will make anime more cinematographic, refined, and therefore it will increase its influence. |
