08/10/11 | REVENGES OF THE EUROPEAN COMMISSIONThe searches at German and Czech Gazprom subsidiaries that took place in the end of September are seemingly the revenge of the European Commission for South Stream and poor prospects of Nabucco. 07/10/11 | IS EURO BECOMING «CONTAGEOUS»? Possible scenarios for the euro-crisisGlobalization’s playing an evil joke on the global economics. Troublesome region can hardly be «contained» and put into a financial «quarantine», isolating it from the more or less healthy EU body until the recovery. Such medical analogies are rather popular these days — the former chief economist of the IMF Kenneth Rogoff has recently stated that «euro carry crisis from one country to another like an infection». Besides there already are several patients in Europe and the doctor is in the same ward with them. |

06/10/11 | AMERICAN NMD AND THE «GREATER ROMANIA» PROJECTOddities of the officially presented meaning of the U.S. NMD system may be discussed for a long time. So, the intercepting missiles, launched from Romania are to bring the hypothetical Iranian rockets down in over Turkey. In Turkey itself it is planned to station merely AWACS radar. According to the logic of the missile strikes, the latter one should be attack in the first place, because after that the attack at Europe and the USA can be waged with a much greater success. If we draw all the bases and radar of American NMD system as the points of a circle, it is the Russian Federation rather than Iran that happens to be in the center of it. |

Russia, Turkey and the geopolitical retrospectionOn the 2nd of August, 1914 Enver Pasha, military officer and actual ruler of Turkey offered Russia to align a military bloc against Germany and Austria-Hungary, once Russia guaranteed eternal Turkish possession of the Straits. Yet, it was exactly the thing that St. Petersburg politicians were unwilling to do, giving Turkey a final push towards the embrace of the Central states. Not multiplying the number of its allies was of vital importance for Russia at the moment and cutting off the Straits Turkey, thus, interrupted the most important channel of Russian communications with its Western allies. |

Is it Sarkozy — not particularly popular, but featuring a reputation of a steady leader, navigating the country through the crisis? Or is it Obama, whose lifestyle and behavior cause no contempt among his compatriots, but whose authority in the matters of American economics and foreign policy is growing all the more dubious? |

Yet, it’s not the worst of itOn the 17th of October EU summit is to take place — primary issue on the agenda of the day is the extension of Schengen zone to the EU freshmen of Bulgaria and Romania. Yet, the latest events have endangered the Schengen extension. Holland and Finland object to that, while all of the EU decisions are made on the consensus grounds. |

30/09/11 | WAR AT THE HOLY LAND MAY BE THE END OF THE ARAB SPRING. PART IIThe age when Israel featured the unreserved U.S. support is a thing of past now. Today, when the world is reformatted according to the scenarios of Soros and Brzezinski, the global layout of powers is utterly different. The USA tries to stake at the new revolutionary movements — in the Islamic world first of all. According to the architects of the new world order, regimes that came to power in the second half of the 20th century and on the surge of secular pan-Arabism are to be brought down everywhere. |
