Historical worldview of a person raised up on such books will inevitably be very narrow-minded. Besides that, if the polonization of the Ukrainian language would keep its pace, the informational barrier even between the western and eastern parts of the country will unavoidably appear. There’s a single reason for joy, however: the qualification of «svidomy» historians remains on the same level (i. e. — the invariably low one). And thus, any forgery stands out for a mile and it is easily exposed during the thorough research.

In the reviewed textbook Russia embodies the example of the age-old evil for every Ukrainian. Having filled the pupils’ hearts with the pain for torments of their ancestors, authors, however, fail to understand why the «Ukrainian territories» kept expanding further and further. The textbook is composed of the wordings that would twist the brain of any kid — who dared to comprehend the stated facts — into the tight knot.

Pulled-out-of-the-head «secret orders», clichés and straight lies — that’s the only arsenal at the disposal of the nationalistic pseudo-historians. These people themselves are not dangerous at all — that’d be a piece of cake to expose them. The problem is that this kind of trash has been getting into the heads of Ukrainian schoolchildren for ten years now and — little-by-little — it was becoming the «common public point of view».
